COMMUNITY COVID-19 VACCINATION EVENT- Sat. April 10th & Sun. April 11th.

Total of 868 Johnson Johnson (Janssen) vaccines were distributed to the community over the 2 day weekend.

At this time, we cannot accept any more new requests for this weekend vaccination.

Please fill out this Registration & Vaccine Consent Form- at home and bring it to your appointment, along with any official IDs, driver license or passports.

*Check in process starts at 8am.

After ~1:30pm both Sat and Sun, the line will be opened for walk in, depending on availability.

This Community Vaccination Event is the collaboration between Auro Pharmacy and Open Eyes Beyond Border (OEBB). Covid-19 vaccination is open for all adults (18 years and older) with extra priority consideration for Seniors and Adults with chronic health conditions. 

Vaccine offer: Single-dose Johnson Johnson (Janssen) Covid-19 Vaccine. Pre-registration for this event is recommended, as availability of vaccines will be limited.

Information needed to register: Name (First, Last). Age. Date of birth. Health problem if any. Address & Phone number.

**Anyone with chronic medical conditions understands that you need to seek approval from your primary care provider BEFORE coming to get the vaccine. In addition, if you have allergies to any material in the Covid-19 vaccine or have had an anaphylactic reaction in the past, you should not get the vaccine.

By registering your name and information to receive the vaccine, you understand the risks and benefits of the vaccine and agree to give consent to Auro Pharmacy, OEBB and its associated staff and volunteers to give you the vaccine on a scheduled date.

Helping community achieve "Herd Immunity', OEBB has partnered with Auro Pharmacy in Austin, Texas to host a Community Vaccination Event. We especially help seniors and families who are from economic disadvantage areas.

"Give Life to a broken pencil" - FAMILY VOLUNTEERING EVENT:  Sun April 18th, 2021 9am-11am at Sun Academy

With the purpose of bringing awareness to the living green concept, reuse and recycle; we invite youth of all ages, families and children in or out of town to participate in this project "Give life to a broken pencil"  

Many extra school supplies are being discarded at the end of the school year, while they can be recycled into new supplies again for many children in need. 

Besides pencils, and colored pencils, glue, tape, clean flashcards, blank paper, color papers can also be collected for this project craft and reuse purposes

We take old, broken, unused colored pencils or pencils; we clean and reshape them into new bundles of unique pencil collections that can be treasured again by other children again. Please drop off or mail to our partner's location: Sun-Academy Austin/ or Austin Rainbow Bouquet.

AUSTIN SNOWSTORM COMMUNITY RELIEF- SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH, 2021.

With the effort to help out families who were effected by the snow storm, OEBB had organized a community relief on Sunday Feb. 28th at 9am at MT Supermarket center- Rice bags, hot meals, dry good, non-perishable food, or water were given to seniors and families in need. OEBB again thank you the contribution of all the individuals, families and local businesses toward this community relief. See more..

COVID-19 PANDEMIC & CENTRAL VIETNAME FLOOD RELIEF:

OEBB's Aid and gifts for central Vietnam Flood Victims-  Students and Families who faced extreme poverty due to flooding and Covid-19 Pandemic. 

 

TUESDAY, JAN 26th, 2021- MIEN TRUNG, CENTRAL VIETNAM

Part I: 36 Students in OEBB Scholarship/Sponsorship Program due to economic hardship from various villages in Quang Ngai, Vietnam are scheduled to receive Tet Gifts. The Tet Gifts bring warmth to the students in need, and also connect our message of encouragement to help the students continue to study hard in school despite many adversities.

Part II: 200 Tet Gift Relief for students whose families are in extreme poverty- in the coasted school areas of Mien Trung- Central Vietnam where the recent floods have ravaged homes and caused widespread desolation.

THURSDAY, JAN 28th, 2021- LONG AN, MEKONG DELTA AREA, VIETNAM:

Part I: 10 Students in OEBB Scholarship/Sponsorship Program from Long An- Mekong Delta Area are scheduled to receive Tet Gifts. The Tet

Part II: 40 Long An students with families suffering economic difficulties because of the Covid-19 pandemic are also scheduled to receive Tet Gift Relief.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6th: 9am- 12pm- AUSTIN, TEXAS COMMUNITY WELLNESS DAY

with Free Flu shots and Vision Screening.  

Flu shots are provided by partnered Pharmacist and M.D. 

Complementary vision consultation provided by OEBB Optometrist Team members. Eye vitamins. Eye allergy, and dry eye drop samples give-away. VSP sponsored voucher for free eye exam & eyeglasses for eligible families.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15th: 9:30am-12pm- AUSTIN COMMUNITY VISION FAIR

Public education about eye health condition, prevent blindness with

complementary vision consultation provided by OEBB Optometrist Team members.

Eye vitamins. Eye allergy, and dry eye drop samples give-away. 

VSP sponsored vouchers registered for free eye exam & eyeglasses for eligible families.
