OEBB HURRICANE DISATER RELIEF PART II:
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH, 2020. 8:30am-1pm
(Oct. 17th Relief Vision Clinic was cancelled, due to Hurricane Delta)
Relief vision wellness check and eyeglasses will be provided at No Cost for residents of Louisiana affected by Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Delta disaster.
Charity Vision Service is provided by the collaboration of OEBB vision care team, volunteers and volunteer optometrists from the Lake Charles area.

OEBB HURRICANE LAURA RELIEF- SEPT. 4th, 2020- LAKE CHARLES- LOUISIANA
It has been such a humbling experience for all of us who have been involved in this year Hurricane Laura Relief, amidst the phases of covid-19.
We couldn’t have done it without the tremendous trust and hearts from our families, friends, extended friends and newly made friends.
COVID-19 AND 2020 PHILIPPINES VISION & EDUCATION MISSION
Due to concerns for air travel and the health of the doctors, volunteers, and students; OEBB will temporarily suspend the vision mission trip to Palawan, Philippines, that was initially scheduled for June 2020.
Regarding the existing OEBB scholarship/sponsorship program, OEBB remotely continues our support for the awarded scholarship/sponsorship students from Long An & Quang Ngai- Vietnam.
We worked with local partner in Palawan and provided essential raincoats, rain boots and backpacks to the children from poverty families in Palawan, Puerto Princesa- Philippines.

COVID RELIEF- FREE FACESHIELD TO PROTECT COMMUNITY DURING RE-OPENING PROCESS

As businesses are opening again, the need to stay safe and protected from Covid-19 is essential. Clear Vision Optometry- Austin Texas has partnered with OEBB in giving out face shields at no cost for clinics or businesses who are still in need of extra protection upon returning to work.

We have exhausted our budget of $10,000 for Covid- Relief Grocery for Family in Need Project.

We will continue to process all the grocery requests that already been submitted to OEBB, with grocery delivery is pending on market availability and may arrive after April 25th, 2020.
